XSREZ wants everyone to be able to browse and buy from xsrez.com, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test the site with automated accessibility checks and by hand, using only a keyboard and a screen reader, and we fix what we find.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a skip-to-content link.
- Product photos carry text descriptions, and image galleries can be browsed by keyboard.
- Menus, the cart, search and quick shop open and close with the keyboard, and Escape returns you to where you were.
- Text meets contrast guidelines, and the site respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
- Updates such as your free-shipping progress are announced to screen readers.
Known limitations
Some parts of the site are provided by other companies, including checkout (Shopify), the customer reviews widget, the help chat and the email sign-up pop-up. We choose and configure these with accessibility in mind, but we do not control all of their code. Product descriptions and photos are supplied by the brands we carry, and a few may not yet have full text descriptions.
